I liked the rooms they were clean and beautifull. The staff were friendly and took us on a tour that was really good!
The breakfast was not that good, a little boring. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

At first when we checked in at this hotel we thought we would like it for our 1 night 2 day stay in Ninh Binh however it quickly turned into a nightmare experience, the worst hotel we stayed in Vietnam. We arrived by bus from Hanoi at lunch time and not having had any breakfast, we decided to have lunch at the hotel. The hotel offered to provide us with a tour to Tam Coc and Mua Caves on our first afternoon. The price quoted was $22. When we returned from buying train tickets to leave the following day, we decided that we wouldn't have enough time to do both sights so we opted to go just to Tam Coc. This was quite enjoyable. Later that evening we went out to get some food (I ate at another hotel as there really is very little for tourists in Ninh Binh). My girlfriend did not feel well at this stage and did not eat anything. Upon returning to the hotel she was extremely sick, right into the night. At around 11pm a tour bus of noisy Vietnamese arrived and proceeded to run around our floor shouting for nearly 2 hours. Several requests to hotel staff to quiten the other guests failed. The shouting and banging started again at 6.30am. My girlfriend spent the whole next day in bed. When it came to check out that evening and get the train, the hotel insisted on charging us for the full price for the tour and for the food that had made my girlfriend so sick. After a long shouting match with the only member of staff that spoke English we eventually got about $5 off our bill. I would not recommend this hotel, location is poor on a dimly lit street, rooms are poor with hard beds and no heating (it gets cold in Feb.) in fact skip Ninh Binh altogether not worth an overnight stay.

Excellent staff (even with the only english speaking staff member - which only happens on tet festival - was not there, he phoned a lot to inform us and arrange our night bus), very nice and cheap food (brought to the room), in the centre of tam coc, bai dinh, cuc phuong,.., All easy to reach with bike, motor, bus,...big room, good wifi,...good value for money!
The room was not cleaned over the three days, but that was possibly because of the tet festival...

The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff helpful. The hotel is within close proximity of the bus and train stations. It's a good place to be based at if you want to visit Tam Coc. Highly recommended.

Decent hotel close to bus stop in Ninh Binh. Room was basic but large, the bathroom was big with a good shower. Staff at the hotel were fantastic, very kind - every time we came down to the reception to speak with them we were given tea and offered whatever snacks they had! Took the day tour to Trang An with Lann, which was great. Very beautiful area outside the city. She was particularly helpful with onward travel info, and even offered us a room with bathroom and TV to use whilst we waited for the evening bus after checking out! Daily breakfast was very large, including eggs, fresh baguette and fresh fruit salad.
Very good value for money paid - no complaints!

Very friendly staff, can lend motorbikes and arrange for a local bus pick up at the hotel when you leave. Good value for money.
Rooms are noisy (no double glazing and lots of klaxons in the streets), rough bathroom (shower on the bathroom floor, no tray), matress not amazingly comfortable

Good location near to the bus station.
I was really surprised by the reviews for this hotel as I did not think the hotel stood up to its score. The staff were not welcoming or helpful. The bathroom mat in the bedroom was filthy. There were some used water glasses on the table in the reception and the girl at reception tipped out the remaining water and without even a rinse, she just put them back on the water cooler for people to use. I was given the breakfast menu and then told that they didn't have about 75% of it. There isn't a lot of choice in Ninh Binh but there must be better!
